deperate need for home repairs, and food. Fixed income disabiity and need a lot of help.

I have a friend who is living on a fixed income. Her husband had a master stroke a few years back. They need some help getting their house fixed up as they have a leaking roof they also need help with food. If anyone knows of some programs they can apply for please let me know. They really need a lot of help.
